I'm Aleika (a-lake-a). Like a lake. My friends call me Lakes, you can too.

I was born and raised in Seattle, WA. I like the rain. So it's okay. I've been designing for a while. Since before I graduated college, I guess. So like 10 years? I currently work as a Creative Director for a non-profit, along with freelancing.

In my experience, I've learned a lot. Impossible deadlines are achievable. All-nighters are standard protocol. And dropping the ball—well, you catch it before it hits the ground. I thrive in this fast-paced environment, always pushing the limits on what creativity is inside me that's just waiting to pop out.

Influenced by my father's artistic capabilities and my mother's strong organizational skills. I often found myself making the simplest things look beautiful. The influences of my parent's talents are translated through my design. I find a creative, but logical way of making design work: clean and simple, but strong and bold. True inspiration is all around me—everything that inspires me is at my fingertips, but most often one step outside.

I specialize in simple, but bold branding solutions for people who are passionate about what they do. I look for clients who are serious about their new venture and are ready to invest in a new business identity. I take a limited number of clients each year to ensure that every project gets my devoted, undivided attention. You'll work directly with me to create the brand that best suits you.

In my spare time, I like to explore new places—it often brings me fresh inspiration and new perspective. Most of all, I look forward to traveling wherever I can, giving my talent and passions to humanitarian organizations around the world.
